West Coquitlam’s Brewery Connection

There are many reasons to love living in West Coquitlam — transit connections, friendly community, and urban conveniences, to name a few. But there’s one perk that you may not know about: breweries. That’s right, West Coquitlam is connected to some of the Lower Mainland’s best breweries. Here’s a quick rundown of a few places to grab some craft suds and, in some cases, fresh grub.

PORT MOODY

Only a quick SkyTrain ride from Burquitlam Station, scenic Port Moody is home to Brewer’s Row. Beer crawl, anyone?

Yellow Dog Brewing: Spend sunny days on their sprawling patio with a beer in hand. Try their Chase My Tail Pale Ale or Shake a Paw Smoked Porter.

The Parkside Brewery: This selection of beers celebrates the Pacific Northwest — and you can enjoy them over a game of shuffleboard or while feasting on BBQ.

Twin Sails Brewing: Their colourful and creative cans will lure you in, and what’s inside will keep you coming back. Pop by their tasting room with friends — sometimes there’s even live music.

Moody Ales & Co.: Beer, food trucks, and special events may be found at this local favourite. Try their Lavender Sour or Beach Haze IPA.

The Bakery Brewing: This local brewery is into experimenting — Strawberry Hibiscus Lemonade Sour, Bergamot & Citrus Wild IPA, Papaya Mango Tropical Ale… you get the picture.

COQUITLAM

Mariner Brewing: Just past Port Moody on the Evergreen Line, you’ll find this seasoned craft brewery and kitchen. Come with an appetite for food and drink.

We’re now selling condos at Port & Mill, just steps away from Burquitlam SkyTrain Station.
