When you visit the pop-up sales centre, you’ll meet Tracey Steeves and Lynn Millard who make up this fantastic team. Read on to learn a bit more about them, and what they love about FORTE.

Tell us about yourself and your time at StreetSide

Tracey Steeves, Sales Manager: I’ve had the great pleasure to be part of the StreetSide sales team for almost 4 years now. Prior to Forte, I have been fortunate to be part of almost all the StreetSide communities, including South Point Walk and Hycroft in South Surrey, Chroma and Canopy in North Surrey, and Everly Green in Langley.

Lynn Millard, Sales Assistant: I have been with StreetSide since November 2015, and have worked on many of their projects in the Lower Mainland. I have always been part-time, working weekends and helping out wherever I was needed. I just recently started as full time and couldn’t be happier!

How would you describe FORTE to future homeowners?

Tracey: The buyers at Forte are excited to be downsizing from their homes in the area or making Forte their first home. The reasons they are buying here is because of our open, spacious floor plans with views of the North Shore mountains, and the peace of mind that they are buying from a builder with a history of building quality homes with lasting value. They love this area and all it has to offer!

Lynn: Forte is a unique development. It is nestled in the heart of North Burnaby, the Heights. It is close to parks, the recreation centre, the library, shopping, and Downtown Vancouver. People do not need a car as everything they need is in walking distance, there is also a bus stop out front. This particular area has a real community feel.

What do you like most about the Burnaby Heights neighbourhood?

Tracey: We love that Forte is walking distance to Confederation Park and the library, not to mention all the great restaurants, shopping, and other amenities in the area.

Lynn: We have met so many great people from the area, and most are out walking in the neighbourhood. We have people who stop in on a regular basis just to say hello and get a coffee or water. Tracey and I have been eating out at different restaurants in the area – all have been amazing. There are so many restaurants to choose from, it’s become our personal goal to try each one!

What do you think homeowners will like most about FORTE?

Tracey: Not only do you have everything you need within walking distance, but you can also hop on the 95 B line bus at your front door and be in Downtown Vancouver or SFU in 20 minutes. Forte offers spacious floor plans and parking for each home. The rooftop patio amenity is where you can putter in the communal gardens or entertain guests on warm summer nights by the fire pit and enjoy those amazing summer sunsets.

Lynn: One of the reasons that I enjoy working for StreetSide is that they are a family business – they take pride in what they build. StreetSide builds communities, and each one of their projects has something special about it. Forte is no exception – it really has something for everyone.

What is your favourite feature of the homes at FORTE?

Tracey: All our floor plans offer open-concept living with spacious rooms, designer finishings, and large outside decks. Buyers get to choose one of two designer colour schemes to help make their home theirs.

Lynn: Forte has something for everyone – down-sizers and first-time buyers and everyone in between. I love the rooftop patio with the 360-degree panoramic view.
