Right next to the border with Burnaby, a brand new neighbourhood is thriving. Since the SkyTrain’s Evergreen Line laid down tracks through West Coquitlam in 2016, it’s emerged as a desirable community with big plans for growth.

There’s an official community plan in place that will introduce more parks, public spaces, and greenways to the area to encourage walking and biking and bring neighbours together. Being pedestrian- and transit-friendly is key to West Coquitlam’s amazing accessibility. You can even walk to the shops to run errands, pick up groceries, or grab a coffee.

With the addition of SkyTrain stations, this area is suddenly linked by rapid transit to downtown Vancouver, Metrotown, Port Moody, Surrey, and more. Commuting to work doesn’t have to include traffic jams, and options for weekend exploring are limitless. If you do drive by car, entry and exit points for the Lougheed Highway and Highway 1 are close.

Reach the craft breweries or rugged shoreline of Port Moody in less than 10 minutes. Hike around Burnaby Mountain or play a few holes at the Vancouver Golf Club. And take some classes at Simon Fraser University. It’s all in your backyard.

Lougheed Town Centre is West Coquitlam’s urban hub and is in the midst of a major redevelopment. Even more shops, services, and restaurants will be added to the already diverse mixture peppered throughout the community.

Great things are happening in West Coquitlam. And we’re excited to introduce you to Port & Mill, a new StreetSide community of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom condos. Be sure to register!
